COVID-19 FAQS: 

  • Can I still shop with República?
    Yes. As a slow fashion company, República’s order preparation process continues to function at this time. All of our pieces are shipped directly from our showroom and are packaged with care.
    We invite you to take the necessary precautions recommended by health organizations with regard to receiving packages at home.
  • Can I still return an order at this time?
    Yes. República is still accepting returns on clothing items and shoes. Lingerie, swimwear, and jewelry are not eligible for return now or at any time.

PERSONAL INFORMATION FAQS:

  • Does República respect my personal information?
    Yes. República is dedicated to keeping your information safe, and we process all payments through a secure system called Openpay. Please consult our Privacy Policy for more information on our personal information protocols.
  • What should I do if I’ve forgotten my password?
    Send an email to our customer service team at customercare@proyectorepublica.com, and we will be happy to help you reset your password.

PAYMENT FAQS:

  • What payment methods does República accept?
    República accepts Visa, MasterCard, Carnet, and American Express credit and debit cards. We use a secure system called Openpay to process your payment.
  • What currencies does República accept?
    República currently accepts USD and MXN. You may change the currency in which you view our products by clicking on either the USD or MXN button in the upper, left-hand corner of our webpage.
  • Does República charge tax and how is it calculated?
    Yes. Tax is included in the price of our products. Therefore, there are no additional charges at checkout or upon receiving your order.

SHIPPING FAQS:

  • To what countries does República ship and how long does delivery take?
    República currently ships to Mexico and the United States. We offer 24-hour shipping on orders placed before 1PM. Orders placed after 1PM will arrive within 48 hours.
  • Does República offer free shipping?
    República offers free shipping on orders totaling more than $5,000 MXN. Shipping on orders for lesser amounts costs $199 MXN to destinations within Mexico and $35 USD to destinations in the United States.
  • Is my package insured and will I need to sign for it?
    Yes. All orders are insured and require a signature. If a package is stolen from or lost by the courier service, we replace your order at no cost to you.
  • Are any products only available for shipping to certain countries?
    No. República ships all of its products to both the United States and Mexico.
  • Can I track my order?
    Yes. República will provide the tracking number assigned by the courier service so that you can track your package.
  • Can I split an order between different delivery addresses ?
    Yes. Please send an email to customercare@proyectorepublica.com to provide the addresses. Any adjustments in shipping fees will be presented for your approval and charged to your original payment method.

RETURNS AND CHANGES FAQS: 

  • Can I make a change to an order after I’ve already placed it?
    Yes. Please send an email to customercare@proyectorepublica.com describing the changes. Depending on the nature of the change, any adjustments to the cost of your order will be charged or credited to your original payment method.
  • How do I return an order?
    Please read the following information regarding our return process in order to ensure that your return is processed correctly.
    1.  Email us at customercare@proyectorepublica.com identifying the item(s) that you wish to exchange or return with an explanation of why you wish you to do so.
    2. We will send you a FedEx shipping label by mail. 
    3. Place the item(s) you wish to return in the original packaging.
    4. Securely close the package and affix the FedEx shipping label.
    5. When you are ready to mail your return, call your local FedEx office to schedule a pick up.
    6. As soon as we receive your package, you will receive confirmation from us. 
    7. Once your return arrives at our facility, it generally takes 48 hours for us to process it. You will be notified via email once your return has been successfully completed. 
  •  In what condition can I return an item?
    All items must be returned in their original condition, without having been used, worn, washed or altered. All tags must still be properly attached.
    Footwear should be returned in its original condition, without any scuffs or markings. The packaging must also be undamaged as it is considered part of the product.
    Jewelry, swimwear, and lingerie may not be returned.
  • How long does it take for a refund to be processed?
    All successfully returned items will be credited in a timely fashion to your payment method. Original shipping fees will not be credited. Keep in mind that the time between which we issue the refund and you see it reflected depends on your financial institution.
